Speaker Bio:

Scott Nixon has been the Executive Director of Life’s Plan Inc. since 2007.  Life’s Plan operates an Illinois Non-Profit that primarily acts as corporate trustee over a variety of different Special Needs Trusts.  Scott is an invited speaker for his work in the Special Needs Planning area of law.

Scott graduated from the University of Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology.  Scott has worked for nearly 20 years with non-profit organizations that provide a wide array of services to people with disabilities and their families.  Scott has taught, mentored, and advocated for individuals with disabilities and their families in the areas of self-sufficiency, employment, disability rights, Social Security benefits and future planning ideas for people with disabilities.
