February 11, 2022 Speaker Meeting

The February 11, 2022, meeting will include a presentation by Stana Martin, PhD on the topic ''Long Term Care Insurance: Understanding the Contract and Avoiding Denials''. This course is approved for 1.00 Illinois MCLE general credit hour.

Dr. Martin earned her PhD from University of Texas at Austin. She is one of the Midwest’s foremost experts in long term care insurance.She has nearly 20 years of experience selling this product, frequently ranking as one of the top in the nation.

In 2012, she founded Mrs. LTC, Inc., as a separate company to focus on filing claims. She has the dubious honor of having filed more long-term care claims than (probably) everyone else in the USA. She is an accomplished public speaker and has spoken for several Bar Associations and NAELA Chapters on her topic of expertise. She is the author of two books available on Amazon – one on filing long term care claims, and one on organizing life so family can be helpful in later years. In her non-professional life, she is a Mom, a Grandmother, an avid gardener, rides her bicycle insanely long distances and plays blue grass music
