Please join us at our Spring Illinois NAELA Unprogram, which will be held outdoors under a private pavilion at Casa Italia Festival Center, in Stone Park (located at 1652 N. 37th Ave at the corner of 37th and Soffel Ave.) Featuring a traditional Unprogram, the day will be comprised of presentations and three breakout sessions led by teams of moderators. While sessions may be moderated by IL NAELA members, the moderators will not present on the subject topics; rather, they will help facilitate discussion among the group. Four different topics we will be repeated over the course of the program to ensure that members will have an opportunity to attend sessions of their choice. We will also be offering an exciting opportunity to “speed-network” with our wonderful sponsors!
In addition, we are excited to announce that Leonard Berg will be recognized with the Outstanding Emeritus Member Award. The Legislative Committee will also present awards to two key Illinois legislators, Senator Ann Gillespie and Representative Natalie Manley, who have been supportive of IL NAELA. And, last but not least, after a two-year hiatus, we will also be presenting the Ron Runkle Award to one of our members. We hope you can join us for the presentation of these well-deserved awards.
Casual attire is encouraged, so leave your suits at home and come join us on June 10! The grounds include several bocce ball courts and impromptu games will follow the program for those who are game to play.
