Attend this session for an overview of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and how it affects residents applying for, or receiving, medical assistance while residing in long-term care facilities.     Sara Saric is the owner of Saric Consulting, dedicated to helping families through the Illinois Medicaid process for nursing home and supportive living facilities. Sara previously worked for the State of Illinois for 18 years of which 8 of them she specialized in assistance for long term care and supportive living residents. She received training and reviewed policy in detail to understand the changes brought about by the SMART Act of 2012. It is her desire to provide the personal attention she strived for as a caseworker and make sure each family understands the process.
