John Estep is a distinguished alumnus of West Virginia University (WVU), recognized as a Presidential Augusta Ambassador and a member of the Order of Augusta. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from WVU in 2006 and later obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia in 2009.

From Sistersville, West Virginia, Estep is widely regarded as one of the top-rated civil litigation attorneys in Washington, D.C. He currently serves as a Senior Litigation Associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP, specializing in the firm’s Litigation & Arbitration Group.

Estep’s career reflects a blend of legal expertise and public service. His WVU affiliation and Order of Augusta recognition highlight his contributions to the university and the broader community, and his professional work underscores his standing in the legal field.
